(Leadington, MO.) A Leadwood woman is dead after she was struck by a semi tractor trailer truck Friday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident took place on highway 67 just north of Sam Scism Ford when 30-year-old Regina Snyder of Leadwood decided to get out of the truck after it had stopped on the north bound shoulder of Highway 67 in front of Ozark Auto Sales. When the driver, 49-year-old William Snyder of Leadwood, began to drive off Regina Snyder decided to get back in the truck and ran around in front of it. William Snyder didn't notice her according to troopers, and ran her over critically injuring her at the time, but she was later pronounced dead at Parkland Health Center South in Farmington.
