Radio has always been about connection, connecting communities, families, and generations. KFMO 1240 AM and B104.3 FM have proudly carried that mission forward for decades.
KFMO, the first radio station in St. Francois County, was founded in 1947 by Oscar Hersch. In 1992, M. L. Steinmetz of MKS Broadcasting purchased KFMO, followed by B104.3 FM in 1993.
In March 2022, husband-and-wife team Chuck and Chelley Odle of Odle Media Group, L.L.C. became the proud owners of both stations. Their vision is simple: to provide the Parkland with the very best in local news, music, sports, and community connection.
