(St. Francois County, MO) St. Francois County Sheriff's Department investigators are looking into two shootings that occurred over the weekend. According to St. Francois County Sheriff, Dan Bullock, the first shooting took place Saturday night around 6:30 after a group of 15 to 20 people met near the intersection of Double O and DD highways in St. Francois County. A fight took place among two men. One man was reportedly shot and is being cared for at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He is expected to survive. The second shooting took place early Sunday morning and is apparently unrelated to the Saturday shooting. Bullock says it's suspected the Sunday shooting was accidental. The victim was shot in the head and is in serious condition in a St. Louis hospital. Both incidents are still under investigation and more information will be provided as it becomes available through KFMO B104 News.
