(Ste. Genevieve County, MO.) Three people from Washington County, two males and a female, are in custody in Ste. Genevieve County for being involved in an attempt to steal a truck from a home on Route J. The incident occurred Sunday morning just before 10 o'clock when the three tried to drive off in the pickup. When authorities were called the suspects ran. Two of them were eventually found in a nearby wooded area while the third was discovered at the Ozora Truck and Travel center. A pickup truck was burnt earlier on Route J and it was determined it belonged to one of the suspects. There was also a stolen box trailer that had been involved in a pursuit earlier in the morning near Sparta, Illionis.
