(Park Hills, MO.) Now that Governor Parson has closed schools in the state for the rest of the year administrators in the Central Schools of Park Hills are faced with making arrangements to wrap up the school year and ask patrons to vote for a no tax increase bond issue in a postponed election. District Assistant Superintendent, Mike Harlow, says the issue was to have been voted on in this month's election however with the postponement they'll focus on informing patrons June 2nd is the new date to vote. According to Harlow one of the pieces of the issue is the construction of a safe room at the high school.
Harlow explains the measure is a no tax increase $6 million dollar bond issue. KFMO B104 News will have complete election night coverage of the election provided it's held June 2nd as scheduled.
