(St. Francois County, MO.) The tabulation of unofficial results for several contested races in St. Francois County's August Primary show incumbent Sheriff Dan Bullock will keep his position. Bullock received nearly 61% of the vote while his challenger Ryan Miller took a little over 39%.
In the race for Associate County Commissioner for District 1 Kary Buckley defeated incumbent Gay Wilkenson and challenger Jesse James Rupp. No Democrats filed for the race so Buckley will be the new Commissioner.
The Associate Commissioner race for District 2 saw the Mayor of Desloge David Kater take the position on the Republican ticket over Greg Montgomery. Kater will face current Commissioner Patrick Mullins in November.
In the race for County Coroner there were no Democrats running so Republican incumbent Jason J. Coplin was elected over Dan Sanders.
The one local non partisan issue came in Park Hills with the public safety Proposition P measure. It was passed easily by citizens. The measure sets up a quarter cent sales tax to be used for training and equipment for the city's police department.
