(Farmington, MO.) A lawsuit is filed against St. Francois County by a former employee who says she was sexually harassed and her rights were violated while working in the Prosecuting Attorney's Office during the time Jerrod Mahurin held the position. Former employee, Lisa Davidson, received a right to sue letter from the Missouri Human Rights Commission, a branch of the Missouri Department of Labor, after forwarding her statement to the organization. KFMO B104 news has contacted the Commission for more information and we have left a message for Davidson's attorney, MaryAnne Quill, an attorney with Kennedy Hunt, PC out of St. Louis. We were able to get in touch with former Prosecuting Attorney Mahurin who says the allegations are false and completely made up.
Some of the allegations Davidson has made include drinking in the office with other employees while on duty, smoking marijuana in the prosecutor's office with employees, and additional sexually related allegations involving not only Mahurin but others in the office as well. Stay tuned to KFMO B104 News as we follow this developing story.
