(St. Francois County, MO.) The latest count of coronavirus cases in St. Francois County is at 81 with 33 of those being active. The rise is attributed to the outbreak at the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic and Correctional Center at Bonne Terre where 2986 inmates and staff members have been tested. The St. Francois County Health Center Facebook page latest post on the case count shows 28 of the 81 cases have been reported at the Bonne Terre facility. The death toll has not increased so far and still stands at 2 people. 46 cases have been released from isolation. According to reports the Washington County Health Department reported three new cases Monday bringing the county's total to 19. Four of those are active. A post on the Washington County Health Department's Facebook page indicates the three new Washington County cases are a woman in her 60's, a man in his 80's, and a second woman in her 70's. All of those are being investigated. Officials with the Washington County Health Department say if you've had contact with these cases you will be contacted by a public health nurse and directed to quarantine.
