(Iron County, MO.) Officials with the Iron County Sheriff's Office say they're looking for the person responsible for what appear to be fake radio calls they've received recently. Iron County Sheriff, Roger Medley, says the calls are from someone posing as an officer saying he needs assistance or has been shot. Medley also says his office, along with all surrounding state, county, and municipal agencies are investigating the origin of the calls and will not stop until a thorough search has been conducted and individual officers have been contacted. According to Medley once police find the person making the calls, they'll face several felony charges. If you have any information on the situation Sheriff Medley asks you contact him at the Iron County Sheriff's Department at 573-546-7051 or at the anonymous email hotline, This email address is being protected from spambots.
