(Farmington, MO.) A Farmington woman, 48 year old Eva Heisch, is convicted of first degree murder and armed robbery in connection with the death of 68 year old Daniel A. Taylor, of Collinsville, Illinois in June of 2016. A news release from the Madison County State Attorney's Office indicates the trial ended Monday with Heisch's conviction. State Attorney, Tom Gibbons, says family members asked police to check on Taylor's well being. When they responded to his residence he was found with multiple stab wounds and his throat was cut. It's alleged Heisch and the other suspect, in the case, 37 year old Jessie J. Werley, had went to Taylor's home to rob him. Werley is serving a 40 year sentence for murder. Heisch faces up to 60 years for murder and another 30 years for armed robbery.
