(Desloge, MO.) Desloge Aldermen are pleased with the latest report from the city's water department and they may not have to think about raising rates again anytime soon. Desloge City Administrator, Dan Bryan, says an update on the department's financial status was heard during the monthly board meeting Monday night. According to Bryan their new Chief Water Operator, Paul Pilliard, told everyone at the meeting the department is becoming self sufficient.
In other business the status of a replacement vehicle for the police department was looked at while street overlay and paving improvements were also discussed. The city's park system came up as well. The city pool is open again and Desloge Community Baseball is looking forward to a new season which begins last night at Brightwell Park.
