What is an "arc"? Well, in literary or film terms, it is the development or resolution of the narrative or principal theme, as an example: Deadpool's transformation provides the emotional arc of the story.

TikTok creator angie.mmyers posted about changing the direction on your "Winter Arc Challenge" to include more healthy or productive habits than to back slide into the bad ones.

Her suggestions include:

  1. Wake up 30 min to an hour earlier than your normal time.
  2. Get some movement in. (Exercise, walking, running, yoga, gym)
  3. Prioritize protein ( 25-30g per meal)
  4. Anti-inflammatory diet. (Focus: lean proteins, whole grains, healthy fats. Avoid: sugary snacks, processed meats and refined carbohydrates.)
  5. Set a step goal. Myers' is 15k-20k steps per day.
  6. Get enough rest. Put your phone on DND after 9pm.
  7. Journal/read/listen to a podcast 

You can watch Angie's video below, but the important thing to remember is that she is not an expert, and these are suggestions. You should consult your physician before embarking on your "Winter Arc"!
