NATIONAL DOG DAY!
Today is National Dog Day...and we are celebrating our doggies, Trini and Boogie!
There's something comforting about having a pet that "gets" you. Our dog Trini is 13, and she knows when someone is distressed. She will come and sit with you, let you hug her and even let you cry--if you do that sort of thing!
Boogie, on the other hand, is only just turning 1. She is always happy, energetic, and seems to enjoy pleasing us. But her obsession with tissues and the destruction of them makes me crazy.
